Opening doors for people with severe disabilities.
We are a nonprofit focused on enriching the quality of life for those with severe disabilities one project at a time.
ABOUT US
Our goal has always been the same:
We want to make sure that a disability does not exclude one from experiencing the fullness of life — like that long road trip, that next great view, and those memories you just can’t make twice.
Every donation, every share on social media, or simply telling a friend raises awareness and gets us that much closer to our next project for Accessible Transitions.
No matter how much or how little, it never goes unnoticed and we appreciate it all! Thank you!

PRESIDENT / BOARD MEMBER
Over the years, I have had the privilege to provide help to those who have needed assistance to live a productive and happy life, from the confines of their beds, wheelchairs and walkers. The hindrances that stand in their way range from minor to formidable, and sometimes insurmountable, due to the lack of information or understanding of the people who don’t face these daily challenges.
I have cared for two wives who battled cancer to the end, and, due to a serious spinal condition, I was the recipient of such care while I was confined to a wheelchair for six years, more than ten years ago. It’s with this compassion and understanding of the challenges people with disabilities face every day that has brought me to the board of Accessible Transitions, to help provide materials and opportunities that otherwise wouldn’t be available to those who need the help the most.
